Description
With a mix of recent New York favorites and new works on their way to New York, the Philadelphia Company is a good bet for a night out. It is usually nominated for several awards each year, and frequently walks away with some of them.
There are receptions on opening nights, plus special events such as 'Meet the Artists' and beer or wine tastings during the run of a show.
Its home, the Plays and Players Theatre, is probably the best-looking, intimate theatre in town. It's an ornate, early 20th-century pile, well worth a visit on architectural merits alone.
