Description

The area around Penny Lane has always been known as an attraction for Beatles fans and a busy shopping district. In the last few years it has also benefited from a rapidly growing cluster of great eating places and a few bars. In the heart of all this activity is a small cinema that has retained its popularity despite all the changes. It may boast only one screen, but the seating area is spacious and comfortable and is equipped with Dolby sound surround. All the new releases are shown here and films change on a weekly basis. Matinees are available when a PG or U film is showing and normally start at 1.30pm.
