Description
This historical landmark was founded in 1917 and has been at its current facility since 1925. The playhouse has launched a number of well-known productions as well as some big names in drama. In 1937, the California legislature declared it the State Theatre of California. Restored in grand fashion and re-opened in 1986, the theater is again presenting some of the best productions in Los Angeles.
Tours of the complex are available, and are given by actors and other experienced crew members.
Tickets run $11.50-50.
