Description
The majestically imposing Palace Theatre curves its redbrick façade around the constant commotion of Cambridge Circus. Constructed as an opera house in 1891, it has impressively been showing one of London's most famous and successful musicals, 'Les Misérables' a production based on the novel by Victor Hugo, for the past 16 years.
The theatre itself holds around 1,400 people, and the house is always filled to capacity with hordes of enthusiastic visitors and repeat audience members. Dining facilities, including a brasserie and snack bar, open one hour before each performance. The Palace provides access for disabled theatregoers as well as facilities for the hard of hearing.
