Description
Step into a little bit of baseball history when you have a beer at this Seal Beach bar. Mark McGuire, a frequent patron, made the place famous during the 1998 World Series when he wore baseball caps with 'The Abbey' emblazoned on them during press conferences and the bar has never been the same. People stop in with the hopes of seeing the baseball superstar or just to sit on his favorite barstool. It is really just a regular old neighborhood bar that achieved fame and glory because of McGuire, but it deserves its fame and is a great place to hang out.
