Simple and crisp, this cafe is akin to traveling to Seattle; without leaving Alaska. Small, with 20 wooden tables and filled with plants and interesting artwork, this has become a regular meeting place for several organized groups in Anchorage. It is the only fully organic restaurant in town. Hearty Belgium waffles are served Saturday mornings for $6.95 and power smoothies are available ($6-10). There is one meat item offered, a range-fed turkey sandwich ($8.95). For dessert, try their refreshing homemade sorbet. Fresh juices, organic beer and wine are available.
