Description
This attractive cafe and organic stalwart has won the exclusive approval of the Soil Association, and consequently is a magnet for all those who love food but hate anything genetically modified. On the menu they advise that it is a 'slow food' establishment - food is made to order and you won't hear any pings from the microwave here.
During the day the cafe is a great place to sip an organic juice, grab some brunch or an all-day breakfast, and generally watch the world go by. By night it becomes a restaurant, with a menu that changes daily according to what fresh produce is available. Unfortunately the organic label has inflated prices somewhat, and lunch is disproportionately cheaper than dinner. Expect to pay about £10 for a bottle of house wine.
