Cirque du Soleil's "Mystere!"

This is like nothing you've ever seen before. The performers and acrobats do amazing stunts. You keep asking yourself, "How did they do that?" The music is great and the costumes are wonderfully different. There is a clown that mingles in the audience and picks on some audience members -- he is superb! I was mesmerized. My 12-year-old son who is tough to impress asked me at the end of the show if we could see the show again tomorrow night. This show is worth every penny of the admission price.

Anything by Cirque du Soleil is beyond words, and Mystere is no exception. The acrobatics are incredible, from the girls hanging from the ceiling to the men on the trampolines. Although the ticket price is steep, the show itself is amazing and well worth the price. It really is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so please experience this delightful show. You can purchase tickets up to three months in advance, and I highly recommend this because we were able to get front-row seats!

We sat in the front row, but for this show I would suggest sitting somewhere in the middle so you can see everything, because there's a lot going on.

What a wacky show! The comic relief was hysterical; be prepared! It involves some audience participation (or should I say specific audience members?). It's the audience participation that makes the show that much more delightful and appealing to all. I say this because I wasn't one of the audience members involved, and thank goodness! It's much better to enjoy the show than be a part of it! Still, fun was had by all. The acrobatics were amazing, to say the least. High up in the air, deep down below, the technical difficulty of some of the stunts was just amazing.

The arena was large enough to seat a good-size crowd, but small enough to give that intimate feeling. The costumes were wacky and weird, but then again, so was the show. I don't do drugs or anything, but I bet this show would be extraordinarily phenomenal if I were high on pot--it's that convoluted at times--but worth the price of admission. Fun can be had by all ages of your family.

It is wild and wonderful. Colorful make-up and costume, mime, circus aerobics. Like modern art, it has no message, it is what you make it.

For those who appreciate boundaries, there are none. It does not connect, it simply bounds from one act to another, and several go on simultaneously at the same time. My girls LOVED it. I prefer Les Mis. Everyone should see one of these at least once.

This was a blast. The show kept your attention as acrobats were flying and clowns were dancing etc. They also used humor with a couple characters. The costumes were colorful and creative. The show is quite difficult to explain, but worth the time. It is no Barnum and Baily and can be more likened to Blue Man Group or other fun performance art.
