Spectacular Visuals But Ruined by Irritating Baby and Clown

This show was awesome. Visually your senses are stimulated the moment you walk in the theatre. This is only ruined by a bad clown act and even worse a horrible baby storyline.
The performers need down time and set up time behind the scenes. With such talent lets think of something creative. Even an average magician with flare. Anything but the clown & baby.

Mystere - Cirque Du Soleil

Amazing. This show was our entertainment splurge. We bought seats for $75 dollars the night before. These weren't the up close and personal $100 seats, but there are really no bad seats in the house, except perhaps the seats on either side of the stage with an obstructed view that run for $60 dollars. The action takes place all around you anyway, so you aren't missing much.

If you have never seen a Cirque Du Soleil show, the show is like nothing you have ever seen... in a good way. It has so much to offer that something should appeal to everyone. The acrobats are amazing, the sets are complex and technical, and the effects are borderline miraculous. The live music is mysterious and each act is filled with whimsy. The entire stage moves and changes, and there are always lots of things taking place all around you. You can hear the audience gasp as they are presented with stunts that seem physically impossible. The show also interjects comedy and a bit of silliness so as not to take itself too seriously despite its artsy persona. This is a must see. I saw La Nouba in Florida and Mystere far outdid it.

Oh, and watch out if you buy popcorn. :)

Cirque du Soleil's Mystere!

Mystere is the longtime resident show at Treasure Island. We saw this show 2 years ago and have found this to be quit an exciting show. The show doesn't have a storyline like "Ka." However, it more than makes up by supplying you with one extraordinary acrobatic after another. Soon, you are so engrossed in the incredible choreographies that you just crave more. I won't give the show away, but there were segments that had people stacked 4 stories high, people doing back flips over each other, and performers bounding back and forth between bamboo poles, to just name a few. It is a very worthy show.

This is a great show. If you get the chance, you've got to go to at least one of the Circ shows. They are worth every penny. The acts are amazing, and you won't believe your eyes. Plus, it's great for the whole family.

This was the first Cirque du Soleil show that I have ever seen, and now I cannot wait to see another one. Oh my God!!! This was great. I was amazed from start to finish. I have never seen anything like this, not even close to this. I cannot believe the human body can even do things like that. What an amazing group of talented people. The music is live as well, composed on a stage-like area above the main stage. The comedy, acrobatics, music, and dancing were just amazing.

TIP: Sit in the middle to the back of the theatre. Don't sit in the front. If you sit in the front, you will miss some of the show that is going on above the audience. Go and see this no matter what the cost. It is worth it. I was with a friend when I saw it, and I cannot wait to take my husband to see it. Words cannot describe it.
