Description
This complex offers informative and entertaining tours around its three major venues. Home of the city's largest stages for music and theater, it has served as the home of the annual Academy Awards ceremony. Comprised of the Ahmanson Theatre, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and the Mark Taper Forum, the music center is also home of the L.A. Opera, the L.A. Philharmonic and dozens of reputable plays, musicals and concerts every year. The tours focus on both the architecture and design of the buildings themselves, as well as the famous acts that have played here through the years. Tour options include the Walt Disney Concert Hall Self-Guided Audio Tour along with public and private guided tours. The Self-Guided Audio Tour is offered most days from 10a-3p at $10 for adults, $8 for students, seniors, and groups. You can also take a guided tour of the Symphonian Music Center for free.
