Moe's and Joe's

An Atlanta institution. Moe's is not the nicest place you'll ever have a drink in, but it's got loads of character. Moe's was until recently the home of Horace, a waiter who worked there from the '50s (when my mother was in college at GA Tech) up until a year or so ago. Get a basket of popcorn and a 'pitcher of the finest' (Pabst Blue Ribbon, of course), then sit back, watch the game on the TV, and listen to the better-than-average jukebox. The restrooms have been voted one of the Best in Atlanta by Creative Loafing for their graffiti (though not for their cleanliness). If you decide you want something a little more upscale, go right next door to Gecko's.
