The Social Club of the Australian Embassy in Hanoi organizes a monthly informal get together in Matilda's, the small bar and entertainment area on the grounds of the Australian Embassy. Australian-style pies are served, along with standard barbecue fare and, of course, Aussie beer!
Australians make up the majority of people in attendance, but everyone is welcome. The supervised pool and grassy play areas make this a great event for families and children. Matilda's Bar Nights are held on the last Friday of every month.
