Description
Compared to the some of the more frenetic casinos in Macau, the genteel atmosphere at the Mandarin is a little more subdued. Here, respectable citizens gently tease each other into laying down large bets, but there is no cheering and jeering when a large amount of money is lost or won. Instead the other players--retired industrialists, aristocrats, and members of the establishment--smile and continue. All very civilised. There is a minimum USD6 bet and security is tight.
