Description
One of the largest contemporary music venues in the city, the main hall holds approximately 500 people. It originally opened as a much smaller venue in Cumberland Street, then the present building opened as Lomax 2, but the former club closed down leaving this as the only Lomax in town. Programming at the club is becoming quite eclectic as it has moved a long way from its original policy of only booking rock bands and now has a varied programme including some excellent folk, jazz and reggae acts.
