Le Loft is a pretty fun club that is desperately trying to be classy and upscale. For the most part it delivers, but it achieves this by being very snooty at the door. Women have a pretty easy time getting in, but men, particularly men alone, have a hard time, especially if they are not impeccably dressed. The music is great and ranges from techno to disco to oldies to hip hop. It gets crowded pretty easily since it's filled with sofas and tables (I think it's a restaurant in the evening).
