Description
It looks like La Presse is back on form.
It was established as a meeting place for political activists, alternately open and closed for inexplicable lengths of time. It is currently more predictable in its business hours and remains a cheap, pleasant venue.
Traces of the past remain in the form of posters on the rights of workers and the emancipation of women, the bath outside the venue, and endless card games.
Concerts are organised from time to time. There is a selection of wine and beer, by the glass or the bottle.
