Description
This is the quintessential supper club. Rich, traditional colors and textures set the mood; black and white prints of women ball players grace the walls. Antique ornaments and damask tablecloths add to the effect. The evening's menu offers a range of elegant hors d'oeuvres and tantalizing dishes to appeal to your finer sense.
Starters range from string onions or Rhode Island Calamari to duck fingers or Oysters Rockefeller ($5-12). The carefully prepared entrée could be anything from pasta to salmon, ($14-20). Sumptuous salads are a fresh alternative, and choices here include spinach salad or vine-ripened tomato and Buffalo mozzarella salad for $6-14. Nightly entertainment is offered Tuesdays through Saturdays, with jazz and swing selections from the 20s, 30s and 40s. A full bar is available for your enjoyment, complete with TVs tuned to catch the big games. Reservations are recommended on the weekends if you don't want to wait.
