You could tell they were still working on getting every area fixed from Katrina. The casino floor was open and everyone looked like they were having a good time. I didn't gamble, but I did see all kinds of slots from penny slots to dollar slots. They also have the World Series of Poker area right there on the bottom floor, but it's roped off.

This casino is packed with people of all ages. It is fun to wander around, and they make a mean martini. The staff was extremely friendly. Nice and clean building.

The casino was very well orgainized with slot machines from $.01 to $5. For the big time gamblers, they have tables for $5000. The service was excellent and the staff friendly.

Typical casino (we lost). Very large and spread out.

Never tried the buffet because I never saw a good review. Disappointing food court (3 shops?) if you want a snack.

The breakfast buffet is great. I have never eaten dinner there because of all the fantastic restaurants in New Orleans, but it also looks good. Harrah's is planning an entertainment venue on the second floor.
