Hard Rock Casino & Hotel

I've stayed at the Hard Rock a few times and always had fun and won money at blackjack, so we decided to grab a cab and head over. Big mistake--there were incredibly rude dealers, which I'd never experienced before here, but I must say I would think twice about going back.

This is another place that caters to the younger people. It’s always crowded and they seem to draw the beautiful people. Table limits are somewhat moderate -- you can actually find a $10-15 table on a weekend night. Much like the Palms, the music is blasting and the dealers are sociable and usually attractive. The only thing missing from this place is televisions in the gaming area so that you can follow the big game while playing some blackjack. Still that’s a minor complaint, since it’s hard to keep your eyes on a game when so many beautiful people keep on walking by.

If you are young, single and looking to party, there is no better place than the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. It's social - big time. This is not your Grandma's casino. I'm not saying you'll be uncomfortable if you're NOT young or single, but if you are, definitely spend some time here.

I particularly enjoyed playing blackjack at Hard Rock, but even if you're just there for the scene (not the gambling), you'll have fun. The music was loud

The only downside? It's off the Strip so you'll need a cab to get there. Cab lines to go elsewhere tend to be long so allow sufficient time to get from here to there.

If you want to see a lot of pretty (young) people, then definitely go to the Hard Rock (yes, it is the same company as the Hard Rock Cafe that is really famous). This is what I consider a beginner casino. Since most of the people there are relatively young, they don't have a lot of gambling experience. This is extremely frustrating if you take your gambling seriously. Also, the odds on the craps tables and the rules at the Blackjack tables are the worst I have seen in Vegas. It was fun sitting next to Minnie Driver for a couple of hours (yes, she is very beautiful in real life and no, she is not a good gambler).
