Sometimes you can find really hip and some just cool places when you are out roaming the nightlife of a city like Singapore. Barfly is one such chic night spot. Unless it is a Sunday night - you probably wont actually be able to see the really cool decor that this place is set up with - because chances are - it will be packed. The bar is located on the second floor, so you have to go up a flight of stairs inside from the street level door with a stand in front of it that I had missed on Saturday night.

Barfly is a place that was happening even though it was a Sunday night, and even though the crowd was not overflowing. Sometimes that is the best time to hit such a cool and chic jet-setter chic spot. You can actually take in and really check out the decor of the whole place, something that you often miss when a place is packed on Friday and Saturday nights. They had some great DJs in there spinning great music and, yes, the bartenders there do make great mojitos as well! Enough said in my book of chic bars. Good music and mojitos means I will be back!
Definitely a place to see and be seen on the weekend when the place is packed. This is a place that you do want to dress up for, and it just has that atmosphere about it. The later you arrive, the less chance of getting in without a long wait.
