If you are looking to show off your intellectual abilities or are looking to strengthen them, check out RiRa on Tuesday nights. There are 10 rounds of questioning, including questions about current events, world history, geography, art, sex, and others. There is one round called the "Picture Round" and another of music. After each round, your answers are tallied and your team is ranked with the other teams participating. There are no prizes at the end, unless you call it the joy of participating.
We had a lot of fun with this. It started off being a friend and I, and then it turned into a larger group, including my dad! Bring a piece of paper and a pen so you can write the questions down as they are read. I did this for two reasons: 1) so I can recall what is being asked and I can come back to that number and 2) show my colleagues the next day how much I learned.
The food is good pub food. The selections of beer are good, too. The prices are reasonable, with nothing ranging over $10 on the menu. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. If you plan on playing in this quiz night, get there early so you can snag a table and not have to stand the entire time. The length of this quiz ranges from 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours.
