Kokopelli's Jazz Club

My wife and I recently took a trip to Savannah to visit some friends. We are always looking to hear good jazz and have hard time in the past few years in Savannah, until we stumbled onto Kokopelli's in the Connect Savannah (entertainment magazine). There was a young trumpeter playing. Theo Croker is the grandson of jazz trumpet legend, Doc Cheatham, and a rising talent in his own right. He seemed to have inherited the good genes from his grandfather, as the music was great that night.. and it was a great price for such good music ($5!).

The club is very cozy and beautiful art adorns the walls. The servers were nice and the drink prices were reasonable too. I am amazed at what these people were able to present at such a great value. I will definitely be back for more. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
