BB Kings Blues Club

We saw "Tony Coleman and the BB King Houserockers" on a Monday night at this blues club, part of the BB Kings chain family, in downtown Nashville. As I was with an under-21 year old, we had a difficult time to find a place with live music that would let us enter. BB Kings was no problem; and no cover! We walked right in and got a table, but we weren't the only ones who had found this gem. The tables were full, and at least 75 people were also in their enjoying the band.

With at least five people on stage at all times, we heard a great range of singers, saxophonists, pianists, and more. The crowd got up to dance at the lively songs, and a few moved souls danced no matter what the song. The ever popular electric slide, jazz style, brought out even more dancing feet. Prices were reasonable; two people split a super dessert, the banana cake. And BB Kings serves the Nashville favorite, Yazoo - a high alcohol content, locally brewed beer.

Check out this club with family and friends; kids are welcome but its a classy atmosphere. Dance or just sit and watch!
