A trip to Dublin would be a waste without visits to Guinness and Jameson. I, being a purveyor of the Black Stuff, enjoyed the former thoroughly. The visitor centre at St James Gate (The Guinness Brewery) is a very, very popular choice for all visitors to Dublin. This attraction could take up the best part of a whole day, so leave enough room for it properly. The Gravity Bar is housed within the visitor centre at the Guinness Brewery, and it has panoramic view over the whole of Dublin--a must-see. Sit back and relax after a heavy day of sightseeing and touristing about, put your feet up, and enjoy a few pints of the best and freshest Porter in the world ! The first pint is included in the admission, and if you have some reluctant Guinness drinkers in your group, you may find it even more rewarding, like I did for sure! 10 outta 10 for my books.
The Guinness Brewery is within easy walking distance from the downtown city centre, the area is safe, and if after you finish up you are still keen on a wee pint and a bit of craic, head along to the nearby Brazen Head Pub, one of the oldest in Dublin and a excellent place crowded with people.
