Bars Along the Beach

This is really a backpackers island, so everywhere happily sells alcohol, and plenty of it. However, it is at Malaysian prices, which are much more expensive than the rest of Southeast Asia.
Most of the nightlife here revolves around the beach, relaxing, knocking back a few beers, and singing karaoke. There are a few outdoor stages for people to dance but no serious clubbing.
That said, don't be surprised if everybody goes to bed early, because snorkelling and diving are very tiring.
