Description
This is an Uzbek-Georgian hybrid of a restaurant and cafe at a pleasant distance from the kiosk labyrinth which surrounds Gorkovskaia metro. Capacious Tarkan is hardly ever crowded which might also be due to its insomniac opening hours, because the food is in fact some of the most delicious and best value for money in St. Petersburg. The mushroom soup and 'Kharcho' (Georgian and meaty), soups pulsate with flavor when they land on your tongue. One major drawback however, is that your waitress or waiter may not be blessed with particularly deep reserves of patience or even competence.
