Description
Established since 1888, this traditional pub is one of the smallest in the city. Situated opposite Central Station, the quaint exterior is a sharp contrast to the adjacent Clayton Square Complex. Recently refurbished, it has retained many features including the old bar complete with stained glass and the comfy leather upholstery. Don't expect to find the usual bar meals or background music here, as this is strictly real ale drinker's territory. What you can expect is a warm amiable atmosphere and well-maintained beer.
