The dress code here is shorts and t-shirts and that is if you are going formal. An open-air beach shack that is not on the beach, Kahuna's tries hard, offering tikis and thatched roofs to keep the theme going. There is a sand volleyball court here and Jimmy Buffet tunes are played on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month when local Buffet fans/Parrot-heads gather. Winding up long weeks, the Friday Afternoon Club meets from 5:30pm to 8:30pm and is entertained with a radio DJ hosting dance tunes and hula-hoop contests. Besides full bar service, this lively diversion offers a variety of salads, burgers and seafood sandwiches.
