Free Summer Concerts and Art

Located on the free CAT busline, the Fremantle Arts Centre hosts a summer (Nov-Feb) free concert series on Sunday afternoons from 2-4pm. Courtyard Music offers concert goers an afternoon of high quality musicians of various genres from classical to jazz. There is a small cafe for light fare, but one may also bring a picnic lunch. After the concert, one is free to tour the art museum, which is open from 10-5, with no admission. There is also a little gift shop with unique items from local artists. It is a family friendly atmosphere, and sometimes children will get up and dance in front of the stage, to the delight of the audience. The setting is serene, the courtyard lined by limestone walls and shaded by beautiful trees. A great way to escape the heat of Fremantle summers and refresh your soul!
