Situated close to the Philharmonic Hall, The Picket is perhaps the most historically significant venue for contemporary live music in Liverpool today. Make your way up the stairs and you will find a modern, airy bar to your left, while up ahead is a long, narrow and unassuming venue, complete with an excellent sound system and lighting rig. Oasis, Billy Bragg, Ian McNabb, Pete Wylie, Echo and the Bunnymen are all regular visitors.
