A famous music venue from San Francisco's heyday in the 60s, the Fillmore is still the best place in the city to see live music.
From up and coming artists like Jonatha Brooke and Spearhead, to current popular groups like the Indigo Girls, the Fillmore provides an intimate and acoustically magnificent atmosphere.
Show up early for the best place on the floor, but beware that the stage is high and you might suffer from front-row-neck-syndrome.
Most concertgoers are even presented with a beautiful commemorative poster, designed specifically for that concert, when leaving.
Tickets range from $15 to $30 and can be purchased from Ticketmaster or the Fillmore's box office.
