Squid Row

Squid Row is designed like a ship, but interesting enough if you look around some more it also looks like a jail. The bar is located downstairs, but waiters are everywhere. Just don't give them your credit card because you will have a hard time getting it back since the place holds more than 200 people.

Some of the most amazing things happen at Squid Row--people are dancing on the bars, tables, and hanging off the bannisters. It's as if you stepped into New Orleans for a night, every night, if you dare to go there over and over again, which I did because it was very entertaining.

You must visit Squid Row because it will be the only way you know you have fully experienced Cabos!

My wife and I probably had the most fun at this club. The atmosphere is definitely crazy with a main DJ standing in the middle of the club, whipping the dancing crowd into a frenzy. The crowd is mostly twenty-somethings, but I saw several people in their 30s, 40s, and 50s.

The good thing here is the upper deck, which allows you to get away from the dancing craziness below and people watch for awhile. From there you can also get your drinks without squeezing through the throng of people and even gaze into open the night sky above.

The bar is open to the outside even though from the street it looks like it is enclosed. People of all ages are dancing all over the place and the later it gets the crazier it gets. The people are lots of fun and by the time you are done you will have met everyone in the place. After 2am is the when the place real heats up, learn to expect the unexpected and just go have a blast. By the time everyone arives the people are packed in like sardines, but still the place to be. It closes about the time the sun comes up.

The young people love it - lots of dancing and fun activities. Walking distance from our resort (would recommend a cab after dark as there is an unlit area to walk through).

One word to define El Squid Roe...Crazy! Spend time reading the signs throughout. They are quite funny! The place gets absolutely packed and the crowd is quite young, so be prepared to get a little sweaty! I am still in awe over those girls that came out of there looking like a million bucks. When I left, you could literally ring out my hair! It is a place you need to experience at least once.
