The bar has a tree growing through the thatched roof bar. It reminded me of the Swiss Family Robinson. There were also indoor and outdoor decks with rope bridges to get back and forth. It was a very laid back place.

Downstairs is very airy, and partially open to the elements. Upstairs is like a tree house. Drinks are extremely cheap ($1 draft beers and $2.50 for mixed drinks). You can get lots of absurd mixed drinks in very large containers

On a typical night, you will find a very mixed, eclectic crowd--the locals freely mix with the tourists. The locals can be very aggressive dancers so don’t leave your girls alone on the dance floor. Having said that, there was great music for dancing (especially if you like hip-hop). The dancing starts up around 10:30pm and really gets into high gear around 11:30pm.

This place is alot of fun. Downstairs has a dance floor and a bar that reminds you of a beach shack ornately decvrated with brick a brack and bamboo. The barmen are outrageous and a certainly game for a laugh. Upstairs is seating area intertwined with tree trunks and overhanging branches.

The list of drinsk is wide ranging from domestic beers to outrageous blue cocktails served in plastic fish bowls. Nothing is expensive, particularly compared to city prices. The music is fun and ranges from funk, to 8o's to dance music. Everyone is fun, friendly and ready to have a good time. a great place to unwind at the end of a long sun-filled day.
