Grotty, uncomfortable and inexplicably loud, this famous venue is filled with drunk, skinny kids all trying to look like Jarvis Cocker. And yes, that's the girls as well. Out of town bands debut here and with them bring coach loads of devotees to fill up the notoriously grim back room and fulfill sycophantic screaming duties. Some of the acts are excellent, however. Others may be have been booked on their ability to fill the bar. Either way, if you come here frequently, you will surely catch some of tomorrow's stars in their early stages.
