Description
A precursor to the two following days of celebrations, this tradition-based event remembers the little angels, or children, who have passed away. Sugared treats are left on altars with candles and flowers. The grownups celebrate this time with parades highlighted by wig-wearing stilt-walkers in flowing sheets or skeleton costumes. Candy skulls fill the air as the parade passes by onlookers. The Acapulco club scene hits a whole new level of fun with orange-colored tap drinks, while costumes are a must. Be sure to pack for this event.
