L2, a popular club in the city centre plays host to a wide variety of club nights and Saturday evenings see the arrival of Cloud 9. Spread over two floors, the lower dance floor is small but lively and there is plenty of seats available, while the upper level has a huge and very busy dance area. The clientele tend to fall into the 20s and 30s age group, and although the dress code is casual but cool, scruffy jeans are fine, tracksuits are not. Music styles differ on whatever floor you find yourself on, 60s soul can be heard downstairs, while up above, indie, rock and chemical beats are the preferred choice.
