The Cavern Club

The Cavern's atmosphere is electric but only if your into the indie/pop-rock generation. Advice tip, there's no point going to this club if your not into the flow because you won't enjoy it. I took a friend who literally said, ah well give it a go. He was disappointed as his game in music is rap or r'n'b. On the other hand, me and my friend enjoyed it so much because of the sheer thrill of knowing that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. The bands that we seen where absolutely fantastic. Pints are £2:50, reasonable considering the amount of people that join in with the fun. There are two areas to the cavern which are both exceedingly good and worth a visit. Room 1 consists of a small stage surrounded by tables and a dance floor! The music that is played is great because there all songs that most people have heard of, get you so in the mood for a dance. The people in there are so friendly also

Cavern Club

This is where the Beatles played probably hundreds, maybe thousands of times. It is still open as a club/bar--mostly teenagers, and peoplein their early 20's hang out here. But many tourists pop their heads in to check it out. Not too much Beatles stuff. It has been through major renovation since their time, but it looks basically like it did before. The people were pretty friendly, and made me feel comfortable. I had a long talk with a guy from Sweden and danced with the locals. There's a place across the street that has all the Beatles stuff--the Cavern Pub. Don't confuse it with the Cavern Club. There were a lot of tourists who couldn't figure out which was the real place John, Pual, George and Ringo hung out. They have tons and tons of Beatles memoribilia, it's pretty tacky, but fun if you're in the tacky mood.
