Holiday Show

The holiday shows throughout Myrtle Beach begin November 1st and the Alabama Theater is no exception. The performers are very talented, but my personal opinion is that early November is too early for the Christmas spirit and I really wish we could have seen "The One" that usually is the musical performance at the Alabama!

The One

This was a variety show with a country and western motif. The comic was very funny. He played a red neck type character named Rick Mokel. His delivery was very deadpan. The singers were very good and the musicians, including a guitarist and violin player, were excellent. They did Broadway, pop, and even some Latin songs, and patriotic music in addition to the country music that was their specialty. It was quite enjoyable.
