This club is one of the first registered clubs in Canberra, having opened over 70 years ago. It has produced many notable Australian rules players, including James Hird and Nathan Buckley who have gone on to the highest level in the code. It is recognised as one of the most successful clubs in Canberra and with its excellent ground is popular with players and spectators. More than 30,000 members enjoy superb facilities with Choices restaurant, Players coffee shop, a popular seafood buffet every Thursday evening, poker machines, five bars, and function centres.
