Cafe en Seine

Cafe en Seine is one of the most sumptuous pubs I have ever, ever been to. This is a bit of an anomaly in Dublin and Ireland, to have a Parisian bar, but that might be an indication of the Irish struggle to appear less xenophobic. The pub is magnificent. Huge and a very good mock-up of the French theme. The decor is lavish and the place is teeming with people. I have attended some live impromptu gigs here, and they regularly put on some sort of top-class live entertainment. The pub itself is multi-layered and the different terrace-like atrium floors offer the patrons a sense of relief, even when the place is packed. Right in the heart of Dublin, Dawson Street is across from the Lord Mayors Residence, a stone's throw from St Stephens Green. There are always plenty of taxis about and the Luas is handy, too. It is also very near my favorite stylish pub of all time.
