Dance of the Vampires is a great show! This show stars Michael Crawford, and was WONDERFUL! At first, I rolled my eyes to see that Crawford was playing this kind of a part--I thought this man is a little old to be going after young girls in shows now. But I wanted to see Crawford, so I went. And it was the best show out of six on this trip. The music is done by Mr. Stein, the same man who wrote most of Meatloaf's songs. The show is about a count who is trying to seduce the young Sarah. This is a musical/comedy, and has amazing special effects! And is a gem! The dance numbers are hot and sexy, and the whole show is a huge must. I went the day of the show, and got a seat in row D for about $100. It's worth it. One of the best scenes is where the vampires are climbing down the walls of the theater headfirst! Another memorable scene is when Crawford sings "Total Eclipse of the Heart" with Sarah. So if you want something different and a little dark, GO! YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED!!! Trust this Broadway baby! See you in the dark.
p.s.: This show might be a little dark for younger children and has adult humor, sex, and all the other things we hold near and dear to our hearts . . .
