Description
This Santa Monica landmark was built in 1940. The name derives from Douglas Aircraft which was at that time a major presence in the Santa Monica. There was recently the fear that the Aero might have to close down, but Robert Redford and others jumped in to save this historic theatre. Thankfully, it has survived its near-death experience.
Here you can see films that have been out a while or are on their second release at lower prices. Cost is typically $5-7, and credit cards are not accepted.
