Good Fun But Don't Pay For Requests

The other reviews of this bar are accurate: the dueling pianos show is very entertaining and a lot of fun. I recommend getting there by about 8 pm if you want to get a decent seat and table. If you show up at 10 pm it is standing room only. However, don't believe the hype about how the pianists can play anything and everything. Once the requests start coming in they just pick and choose those that they know. There are so many requests that it is easy to do this. And if there aren't any requests they know then they just play whatever song they want - because everyone will think someone else requested it. They might play one rap song and people think "wow! they know rap songs!". No, they know just that one rap song. So my advice is to save your money and don't send up a request with a big tip because there's a good chance they'll never play it, especially if it is not a popular standard that they will know how to play.

Jellyrolls The Hottest Dueling Piano Bar in Florida

Jellyrolls is located at the Boardwalk in Walt Disney World and is THE best adult nightlife in Disney! Jellyrolls is an all request sing-a-long dueling piano bar. The piano players entertain the guests by playing song requests as well as having the guests become part of the show. The show is based around the requests they get, so the livelier the requests the more fun you'll have! Sometimes they will even learn a song that you request! (here's my advice: If you want your song played quick, then tip well. Songs are sent up on a napkin with a tip anywhere from $1-, $5-, $10-, but a $20- is a fast pass for your song ;)
No two shows are ever the same and no Disney vacation is complete without a night a Jellyrolls. Cover is $10- and now that Pleasure Island is closed Jellyrolls is the place to go!
We started going to Jellyrolls several years ago and now we take vacations just to go there! The best way to get to Jellyrolls is from any park at Walt Disney World just take a bus or boat to the Boardwalk. The Boardwalk is a great place to shop, grab a bite to eat and then spend the night having fun with your friends listening to the very talented piano men.
The doors open at 7pm and Jellyrolls is open until 2am. The phone number for more info is 407-560-8770. The piano players change nightly. The current Jellyrolls piano men are Michael Williams, Ray McGee, Scott Kilwein, Daniel Deal, Mike Kilwein and Tommy Bell. They are all extremely talented and can play anything from Billy Joel, Queen, Boston, Beastie Boys, Jimmy Buffett to any Disney medley you can think of and more! Jellyrolls is definitely an overlooked gem at Disney!

The description I had read for Jellyrolls prior to going to Disney was a bar with "dualing piano players." With this vanilla-type description, I envisioned a small bar with dim lighting and two piano players playing classical piano pieces. Boy, was I wrong! The minute you walk into Jellyrolls, you are overcome with the very loud singing coming from not only the piano player but also the bar patrons/audience. Coming here for a drink and to visit is not really an option. Crowd participation is a given, and you can't help but join the fun. There are two piano players, but they are on a stage with disco-type lighting. You make a song request by taking a dollar (or more) and a napkin with the song title and placing it on the piano. These guys can play and sing ANYTHING! I was so impressed. They play everything from ‘70s disco to ‘90s rap and anything you can think of in between. While we were there, they even sang Baby Got Back—a cult favorite for ‘90s rap lovers! Of course, while they are playing and singing, they expect the audience to sing along as well. The audience is 21 and older, because this is the requirement for the bar. Most often requested were ‘80s classics, and for a thirty-something like me, it was heaven! My husband and I came here twice during our five-night visit to Disney, and we would go back in a heartbeat. The hours are from 7pm to 2am. Things really seem to get rolling at about 10pm—after the parks close. Plan to stay a few hours to get a full experience. You will be there that long without realizing it anyway!
