Le Ballon Rouge (gay club)
Le Ballon Rouge (The Red Balloon) is Quebec's gay dance club. It's small, but fun and friendly, and they always play good music. If you're a gay boy alone in Quebec, I recommend Le Ballon Rouge until about 1, and then walk the few blocks into the Old City to The Club With No Name to close the night. Then it's just 2 blocks home if you haven't met someone to go home with!
To get to the club from the hostel, walk downhill to Rue Ste Jean, take a left and leave the city walls. You'll walk down the little restaurant row, and then the club will be on your left JUST before the big church.
