Night at the Movies

The city of Bath is a fairly quiet place at night. There are beautiful views from the Royal Crescent and the park below (which seemed quite safe even in the dark), but if you're looking for a way to pass the evening, I would actually recommend the movies. Going to the cinema in Britain can be quite expensive, but tickets in Bath are surprisingly cheap, especially with a student ID. Plus, the theatres are well-kept and set up in a theatre style, with a curtain opening to reveal the screen.
