Don't let the name fool you, it has one of the best sushi we had on our 10 day trip to NYC.
This was a last minute booking for a our bachelor "outing", we wanted something classy yet affordable range, and being conveniently nestle between long island and Manhattan it was an easy choice. Our meal was extremely "tasty", we started with a large sushi platter along with saki. Then progress with the typical steak and red wine pairing. Menu do change daily so be ope to being pleasantly surprise the day of... :)
One of the special for the day was Colorado lamb chop with potato pie, 2 of the members in our group just loved the dish (came with Colorado Lamb Chops Rubbed in Dijon Mustard, Crusted with Seasoned Bread Crumbs, Served with Layered Idaho Potato, Fresh Herbs and Gruyere Cheese in a Flakey Pastry.) I ordered the biggest steak on the table a handsome prime cut of 28 oz. Rib Steak. Due to the many prior helpings of sushi, and other sides, didn't quite finish the steak but trust me when I say you can't go wrong with any of steak entrees.
Last but not least we had three dessert to share, and they were Chewy fudge Brownie, blackstone layer cake and the classic new york cheese cake. I must say the brownie definitely hit the spot and out shine the other two choices. This place was was extremely memorable, and the groom approved!
