Dine in a Park

The Terrace is in a small structure in the middle of Lincoln's Inn Fields. The cab driver we had didn't even know it was there and wasn't sure where around the square to let us off since he couldn't see the restaurant. We got off and asked in another restaurant where it was in order to find it. So, just remember, it's *in* Lincoln's Inn Fields, not on the square surrounding the park. Walk into the park and you'll see it in the centre near the tennis courts.

That being said, the restaurant has a clean, cool decor with blue and white and pale wood accents and beams, with lots of windows that they can open to the fresh air in summer. The food is British with a Caribbean twist. We had lunch there and they had a set menu in addition to the regular a la carte menu and we all enjoyed it immensely. Presentation was meticulous and the service was very good.

The menu changes frequently depending on availability of ingredients so it's always fresh and current. The Jerk Chicken was really good (though hot and spicy). Desserts were fab as well. The mixed salad was served in a large water goblet which was a little different. A set lunch menu is 14.50 (pounds) for 2 courses or 15.95 for three courses exclusive of drinks. They are open for breakfast and lunch but the website also says they're open as late as 8:30 (possibly earlier in winter when the park closes for the evening)

There was a ramp, I seem to recall so if you have mobility problems you should be ok here. Service was impeccable, overall prices were a bit higher than you might want to pay if you're on a budget but not extortionately high either.
