The motto of Cosmo's is "Taste the World". They certainly have a wide variety of cuisines. The menu features Greek, Thai, Japanese and Middle Eastern to name a few. Best of all, in the early evening from 5 - 7 the Tapas are 2 for 1 allowing you to sample a lot of food for a low price.
The Spanokopita crust was very flaky and flavorful but did not fall apart and leave pieces on your plate. The filling was minty and full of moist spinach.
The Chicken Satay was descibed on the menu as being ctirus marinated. While it was delicious and juicy I did not get an overwhelming citrus flavor. The peanut sauce was a little thicker than what I am used to but was still very good. It was about as thick as penaut butter and a little too thick to call sauce, IMO.
My favorite part of the meal was the sushi. It was better than a lot of Japanese restaurants I have been to. There was a good selection of very traditional Maki and Nigri sushi. They do not feature sushi covered in sauces or with 17 types of fish in one roll. I had the Spicy Yellowtail and Eeel roll. Both were very plump rolls without being completely full of rice and cucumber. The spicy sauce had just the right amount of heat.
Finally, Cosmo's also offers pizzas cooked in their wood fired oven. The pizza is plenty big for one person. The Atlas pizza had a cheese combination of mozzarella, fontina, feta and parmesan. You could see the feta sprinkled on top of the pizza but it did not overshadow the other cheeses.
Cosmo's is a great value for Tapas in the evening and has a great selection!
