We've been going to CrossRhodes restaurant for more than 20 years. It's a Greek store-front restaurant, very unassuming in appearance but almost always crowded. It's a casual place for families, couples, or any mix of friends. And it's reasonably priced: probably under $40 for the meal including the wine.
David and I always order the same thing: for him it's the 1/2 chicken, with egg lemon soup to start. For me it's the skirt steak with a salad to start. There's a choice of fries or rice and you must order the fries. They are the best French fries in the world. They sit in that Greek lemon dressing and are to die for. We usually take home 1/2 of his chicken for a chicken salad the next day and maybe 1/3 of my steak so that David can have steak and eggs for breakfast. We usually have a carafe of Greek wine to accompany the meal. We never get to dessert although they look pretty good - a decadent chocolate cake, baklava, and a couple of other choices.
There are other things on the menu: I once had a hamburger which was terrific. There are gyros plates and souvlaki and other typical dishes, but believe me our choices are the best!
