Just Good Food When you Need It

We went into Mamoth Lakes while we were in June Lake. Mammoth is the "big" town 15 miles down 395 from June Lake. While we were checking out the used bookstore operated by the town library (Book Chalet) and the local fly shops for the guys, we got hungry enough to look for a good lunch place. We found it at the Good Life Cafe'. In early October, there aren't many tourists and certainly no skiers so we were seated immediately. The menu is extensive and offers fresh ingredients in a variety of dishes. I chose the Quiche and minestrone soup. Fabulous food! What few patrons they had all seemed pleased with their fare.
